This is a really good soda.  Dr. Pepper always had a bit of a cherry flavor.  The chocolate is creamy, smooth and not overly sweet.  I hope they make this a permanent addition to the lineup.

The Phillie Phanatic is the greatest mascot in the history of professional sports.  He made his debut 30 years ago today before a Phillies game at Veterans Stadium against the Chicago Cubs.  One year later, artist Don Vannozzi created a comic strip featuring the beloved flightless bird which was published in The Philadelphia Inquirer throughout the 1979 season.

In honor of his three decades in Philadelphia, here is a collection of those newspaper comics.
