The Sega Genesis version of Royal Rumble hit store shelves twenty years ago today. Because the Super NES version predates this release by three months, the Genesis version was given a slightly different roster. Yokozuna, Ted DiBiase, Mr. Perfect, Tatanka, and Ric Flair cannot be found in this game. They have been replaced with Hulk Hogan, Jim Duggan, Rick Martel, IRS, and Papa Shango, none of whom are in the SNES counterpart.
