Well Clarice... Have The Lambs Stopped Screaming

Mahoning Drive-In Theater - Lehighton, PA
Tonight's 35mm feature at the Mahoning was one of the greatest psychological horror films of all time.  It's just the third movie in history to sweep the Big Five by winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay at the 64th Academy Awards - The Silence Of The Lambs.

The filming location where Buffalo Bill skins his victims, and is ultimately killed by Clarice Starling, has been turned into a tourist attraction where you and four friends or family can stay overnight.  The proprietors of the Buffalo Bill House in Perryopolis, PA were in attendance to sell merch and spread the word about their establishment.

I couldn't resist picking up a bottle of official Buffalo Bill lotion.

There was a contest on the photo op stage prior to showtime in which people attempted to recreate the Goodbye Horses dance which Virgil was brave enough to participate in.

I really can't say enough good things about The Silence Of The Lambs.  I saw it for the first time on VHS when I was living with my dad in South Florida in the early 90's and it absolutely blew me away from the moment I laid eyes on it.  Seeing it on 35mm on the big screen at the drive-in was incredible.
