1964 - 2017
It has been four years since my favorite singer took his own life. This hit me especially hard, and I didn't know what to say about it at the time. The words came a lot easier the following year when Anthony Bourdain committed suicide.
If they were everything that I dreamed that I could be and they couldn't beat back the demon, what chance do I have? The answer, of course, is whatever chance I allow myself to have. Stand up. Move forward. Find a way to have an adventure if you can. Be good to the world, be good to yourself, and allow the world to be good to you.
