Bally's Tron Video Game Tournament
Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden - New York, NY (1982)
Forty years ago today, the finals of a Tron arcade tournament were held at the Felt Forum (now the Hulu Theater) at Madison Square Garden. This was won by Richard Ross of Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to this, a separate celebrity tournament was held at the event with participants that included Baseball Hall of Famers Hank Aaron and Willie Mays, as well as actress Barbara Eden from I Dream Of Jeannie and Harper Valley PTA.
