Hotel Claridge (1960s)

Camel Man blew smoke rings over the traffic on Times Square for 25 years. The image of Camel Man changed over the years (compare this to the photo of the same billboard from 1948) until it taken down in 1966. The Hotel Claridge was torn in 1972 and a 33 story building was built in its place. which is now home to ABC Studios where Good Morning America is filmed.
