The Last Days Of The Super NES

Super Nintendo shelves
Toys R Us - (1999 - 2000)
Fellow retro gamer @pori64 recently purchased an album of photos that were taken at Toys R Us stores in Hanover and Paramus, NJ.  In an incredibly awesome gesture, all of the photos were scanned and shared on Twitter and Archive.org.

There are over 20 photos in the collection, and I highly encourage you to check them out and offer a few kind words of appreciation on Twitter if you enjoy them as much as I do.  The two photos above have been cropped and rotated to focus on the displays of Super Nintendo games in the last couple of years that they were still in production.  If you look closely, you can see Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid, Starfox, Super Castlevania IV, Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back and F-Zero, among many other classics.

Some of the other photos include Game Boy Color and Nintendo 64 displays, including a demo station for Excitebike 64 from June, 2000 shortly after it was first released in the United States.
