Eat Chicken and Support Equality

Ch'King
Burger King (2021)
Since I was a little boy, Burger King has been my favorite fast food restaurant.  They've discontinued a lot of the stuff I liked best, like their original chicken tenders and the BK Broiler, but they usually come out with a lot of new menu items with pretty creative marketing to introduce them.  This time, they've outdone themselves by introducing a sandwich that takes a shot at a rival restaurant that financially supports bigotry while, at the same time supports the Human Rights Campaign in their fight for equality and civil rights for the LGBTQ community.

You can get their new Ch'King sandwich any day of the week - even on Sunday.  So I did, and here it is.

You can get a standard or spicy Ch'King sandwich, and you can choose the regular or deluxe version, which comes with lettuce and tomato.  The sandwich is made from a hand-breaded chicken filet topped with pickles and a signature sauce on a potato bun.  I'm going to go back and try the spicy one later, but I decided to go with the standard, non-deluxe version, and it's pretty darn tasty!  I couldn't really tell what the sauce was, but it definitely wasn't bad, and the chicken and pickle combination works well together.
