The Phillies are going into the All-Star Break with a .500 record.  They're sitting in second place in the NL East with 44 wins, 44 losses, and are 3.5 games behind the Mets.  Zack Wheeler and JT Realmuto are going to the All-Star Game, and the rest of the team (including the folks who are benched due to Covid-19 protocols) are getting a much needed rest.  Their next game is a Friday double-header to make up the game that was rained out on my birthday.

These commemorative retro Phillies cans came out in 2020.  I'm not much of a beer drinker these days, but I got a pack last fall.  What can I say - marketing works.  I pass by this Yuengling banner at Murphy's in Tamaqua on the way home from the drive-in.  One of these days, I've got to stop by and see if they'll take a few bucks for it if and when they ever decide to take it down.
